Students living in the Graduate Village complex, roughly two miles from the main campus, will see their commute cut nearly in half under a revised shuttle schedule that took effect Monday.
Transportation Services added two buses to the Blue Line route and introduced a direct stop at Graduate Village, eliminating a transfer that previously added 15 to 20 minutes to the trip.
The change follows a petition circulated last spring by graduate student representatives, who collected more than 600 signatures citing unreliable service as a barrier to attending morning classes and labs.
