A new 3,000-square-foot research space dedicated entirely to undergraduate-led projects opened this month on the third floor of the science building, filling a gap students and faculty have raised for several years.
Previously, undergraduate researchers worked in faculty labs on a space-available basis, often competing with graduate students and postdocs for bench time.
